Some equate homosexuality with race, an argument that can be convincing for people who are biblically uninformed. In our culture, no one wants to be viewed as racist, and it’s just a short (but illogical and wrong) step from that to being “racist” against practicing homosexuals, who don’t choose their orientation (so we’re told) like we don’t choose our race.
